Makes: 4 Servings
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup orange marmalade
1 teaspoon ginger, either fresh or
powdered
2 teaspoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 pound chicken cut into strips
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Directions:
Heat
a large skillet to medium high, and when it is warm add the butter, marmalade,
ginger and flour. Mix the ingredients together thoroughly.
When
the butter mixture is bubbling, add the chicken and cook for 3 to 4 minutes
stirring constantly to make sure the chicken cooks evenly.
Add
the remaining ingredients and let the mixture simmer until thickened, about 5
minutes.
If
you want to add vegetables, cook them in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes so
they soften, then add them when you add the chicken.
Serve
over rice or noodles. Enjoy!
