Chipotle Lime Meat Marinade
It seems like I always have some
chipotle chilies in adobo sauce in my fridge. Mexican pork roast is my go to recipe
for using the chipotle chilies, but a body can only handle so much of that at a
time. So I have to get creative with how I use the rest of the can of chipotle
chilies.
Makes: Enough for 2 pounds of meat
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 McCormick Mojito Lime Marinade
Packet
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons white vinegar
¼ cup lime or lemon juice
4 to 6 chipotle chilies in adobo
sauce, or what is left in an already opened can (the more chilies you use the
spicier your meat will turn out)
2 pounds of your favorite meat to
marinade (I used pork chops for this but I really think anything would be
tasty)
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together in a plastic bag, except
the meat. Mix until the powder is dissolved and the mixture is homogenous.
Add the meat to the bag and squish the marinade around to
make sure all parts of the meat have been covered.
Press out all the air from the bag, or as much air as you
can get out, and then refrigerate at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Cook the meat your favorite way and enjoy!
