Homemade Item: CHIPOLTE RANCH DRESSING

Do you ever have a tiny bit of food left over from a recipe and are not sure what to do with it? You don’t want to through it out, but there is not quite enough to save? Well, try making some fun sauces with it.

I had a little adobo sauce left after a recipe and decided to make chipotle ranch sauce.

Just mix together some ranch dressing, a little adobo sauce, a splash of lemon juice, a pinch of cilantro and Huzzah! You could easily mix up a large batch of this stuff and keep it in your fridge.

I like to put mine chipotle ranch onto of fish tacos. Mmm, Mmm good!

Chipotle Ranch Dressing

Ingredients:

¼ cup ranch dressing
1 teaspoon adobo sauce from a can of chipotle chilies
1 teaspoon dried or fresh cilantro
A splash of lemon juice

Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Chill until ready to use or store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to six months.
